Scientists have called a way to improve adipose tissue to lose weight
Scientists from the University of Campinas in Brazil found that strength training begins to heal adipose tissue much earlier than a person loses weight

Scientists from the University of Campinas in Brazil found that strength training begins to heal adipose tissue much earlier than a person loses weight. During the experiment on mice, noticeable changes in adipose tissue occurred within a week after the start of classes. The study was published in the journal Life Sciences.
As part of the work, experts compared two groups of obese mice. One group remained sedentary, while the other performed strength exercises for seven consecutive days. The animals climbed a ladder seventy centimeters high with a load tied to the tail. Each of the seven sessions consisted of twenty climbs with a rest period of sixty to ninety seconds and a load of about seventy percent of the maximum. The training model simulated strength work comparable to that performed by people in the gym.
Within a week, the trained mice had less visceral fat around the intestines, and the fat cells themselves became smaller. Reducing the size of adipocytes is usually considered a sign of healthier adipose tissue. Biochemical analyses confirmed the metabolic shift: the pathways that trigger fat accumulation became less active, and the mechanisms responsible for its breakdown, on the contrary, intensified. Levels of the protein ABHD5, which triggers the breakdown of fat, remained normal in trained mice, while in sedentary mice it was reduced. The Scd1 gene, which is associated with fat production, was muted in strength exercisers.
The main thing that the researchers pay attention to is that all these changes occurred before any weight loss. This indicates that the use of power loads for metabolism manifests itself earlier than the visible result on the scales, and is not reduced to a simple loss of kilograms. The authors emphasize that we are talking about mice, and the results are to be confirmed in human trials. In addition, for weight loss, according to them, it is best to combine strength and aerobic loads.
In the future, the researchers plan to study longer-term effects and how exercise works on different types of fat in different parts of the body. If the result is confirmed in humans, power loads can be recommended not only for muscle recruitment, but also as an early means of improving metabolism.
