In Kuzbass called the best employers
In Kuzbass summed up the results of the regional competition “The best employer in the field of employment of Kuzbass”

The competition is held in the region for the fourth consecutive year and helps to replicate effective employee support practices.
The winner in the nomination “The best employer in the Kuzbass for the employment of participants and veterans of a special military operation” was the Department of bailiffs in Mariinsk, Mariinsky and Chebulinsky districts of the GUFSSP of Russia in the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass. Here, an experienced mentor is assigned to each veteran employee and an individual adaptation plan is drawn up taking into account the needs of the person after returning from service. Families also receive support: charity events, New Year’s performances, creative contests and family events are organized for the children of SVO participants.
In the nomination “The best employer in Kuzbass for employment of disabled people” won the Comprehensive Center for social services of the population of the Central district of Novokuznetsk. The institution adapts workplaces according to individual rehabilitation and habilitation programs, provides an accessible environment and adjusts the schedule if necessary. New employees are appointed mentors who help to settle down and join the team.
For workers with disabilities, exercise classes, consultations of a psychologist and a lawyer, physiotherapy and other wellness procedures are available. The building has ramps and handrails, widened doorways, tactile plates with information duplicated in Braille.
Among the staff of the center is a social worker Ekaterina Gorlatykh, a participant and prize-winner of the regional championship “Abilimpix”. She also shares her professional experience with students.
The best employer for youth employment is recognized as KemVod JSC. In 2025-2026, the company provided free-time work for more than 150 adolescents aged 14 to 18 years. Each young employee is assigned a mentor who helps to master duties and supervises the work. Teenagers are also involved in corporate events, excursions and creative projects – for example, this summer, the guys together with the company’s staff visited the Impressionist exhibition.
The competition was first held in 2023, and since then the number of participants has been growing, and the presented practices help employers improve their approaches to employment and adaptation of employees.
