Railways of Khakassia increased loading by 10%

Over the nine months of 2026, 21 million tons of cargo were sent from the stations of the Krasnoyarsk railway in Khakassia. This is 10.1% more than in January-September last year. The main share of transportation is still occupied by coal, but construction materials and grain have also significantly added.

According to the Krasnoyarsk Railway, in September the volume of loading amounted to 2.3 million tons - 10% higher than in the same month of 2025.

In nine months, railway workers sent 18.5 million tons of coal. Compared to last year, the indicator increased by 9.1%. Coal accounts for more than 85% of all loading in the region. In September, its shipment exceeded 2 million tons, an increase of 11% in annual terms.

The most noticeable growth was shown by construction cargo. In January-September, their loading reached 137.5 thousand tons – seven times more than in the same period of 2025.

Transportation of ore of colored and sulfur raw materials increased by 2.2 times, to 26.5 thousand tons. Grain shipments increased 1.7 times and amounted to 64 thousand tons.

Thus, the total volume of railway transportation from Khakassia continues to grow. At the same time, coal remains the basis of cargo traffic, and construction materials, grain and other raw materials also contribute to the positive dynamics.
