How to cope with autumn fatigue: advice from doctors
In autumn, many begin to feel weakness, drowsiness and decreased efficiency

In autumn, many begin to feel weakness, drowsiness and reduced efficiency. This is not laziness – so the body adapts to the new season, explained “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Pskov region.
Autumn fatigue may be associated with reduced daylight hours and seasonal infections. Mode changes are also influenced by sleep quality and energy levels.
To help the body cope with this condition, doctors advise to be in the daylight more often - in the morning in sunny weather it is useful to walk 15-30 minutes; sleep 7-9 hours, go to bed and get up at the same time, and an hour before bed, give up gadgets; maintain physical activity; eat in a balanced way so that the body receives the necessary vitamins, and reduce sugar consumption; completely eliminate alcohol and quit smoking.
If even after these simple rules, fatigue persists for more than 3-4 weeks and is accompanied by shortness of breath, pale skin, hair loss or a sharp change in weight, consult a doctor.
It is important to undergo regular medical examination or preventive medical examination: the therapist will determine the symptoms, prescribe examinations and, if necessary, refer to narrow specialists.
