Kaliningrad residents advised to abandon the constant reading of news feeds

To be less anxious about news, limit the time a person spends watching it. Constantly checking for updates can increase anxiety, even if there is no immediate danger nearby. About it News.ru told psychologist Elizaveta Gaiduk.

According to the expert, anxiety because of what is happening is a natural reaction to frightening events and uncertainty. But if you constantly follow the news and mentally return to disturbing events, emotional tension can persist all day.

The psychologist advised to set aside some time to read the news and choose reliable sources. So you can stay up to date without dipping into disturbing information throughout the day.

If anxiety does not go away, disrupts sleep and interferes with work or daily life, it is worth seeking professional help.
