Saratov microbiologists found dangerous salmonella in meat

During the nine months of 2026, 236 samples of meat for microbiological indicators were examined in the Saratov region. Such information at the official request of the correspondent of MK in Saratov was provided in the testing laboratory of the Volga branch of the FGBI "ARRIAH" (structure of the Rosselkhoznadzor).

The meat was tested for the presence of E. coli, salmonella and other dangerous bacteria. Six samples did not meet safety requirements.

In particular, in two samples of pickled meat, poultry was found salmonella, and in frozen beef - listeria. In three samples of smoked chicken sausage and roll, an excess of KMAFANM was found.

Note that for consumers, the indicator KMAFANM characterizes the quality, freshness and safety of food.
