Tulyaks called salary the main factor in choosing a new job

High salary remains the main criterion when choosing a job for residents of Tula. This answer was given by 59% of participants in the SuperJob survey, which was attended by economically active citizens and representatives of companies.

In second place was the adequacy of leadership: it was noted by 36% of respondents. Another 29 percent said it was important for the company to be stable. Convenient location of the workplace was called a significant factor by 27% of respondents, and a comfortable psychological atmosphere in the team and career opportunities - by 26%.

Personal development when choosing an employer takes into account 20% of Tula. Transparency in management processes and the ability to maintain work-life balance are important for 16% of respondents in each category. Interesting tasks attract 12%, a decent social package - 10%, corporate training - 7%. Less often, the survey participants called the image of the company - 4% and corporate culture - 2%.

Priorities also vary depending on gender. Men are more likely to note the importance of high salaries, career prospects, interesting tasks and opportunities for personal growth. They are also more likely to pay attention to work-life balance. Women appreciate the proximity of the office to the house, a comfortable atmosphere in the team, the effectiveness of management and the adequacy of superiors.

Age also influences choice. Respondents under the age of 35 are more likely to focus on career development, personal development and corporate learning. For people over the age of 45, these factors are less significant, but they are more likely to pay attention to the stability of the employer, the location of the workplace and the compensation package. A comfortable atmosphere is especially important for employees over the age of 35, and interesting tasks for those who are under 45.

The differences are also noticeable depending on the level of income. Tulyaks earning less than 100 thousand rubles a month, often take into account the location of the office, the ability to combine work with personal life and the availability of corporate training. Their career prospects are less important to them. Respondents with income from 100 to 150 thousand rubles often allocate professional development and compensation package. Among those who receive more than 150 thousand rubles, interest in the stability of the company, transparent work processes and meaningful tasks is higher.

Employers also assessed candidates’ priorities. According to the surveyed HR specialists, the first place in importance is the salary — so believe 82% of the study participants. The second position is occupied by a convenient location of the workplace with an indicator of 52%, the third is the stability of the company, which was noted by 47%.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported that 53% of Tula people consider humor to be an assistant in their careers. 22% answered negatively, the rest were confused.
