The owner of the Chepetsk cafe “Med” was fined for using meat and fish of unknown origin
In the Kirov region, the supervisory authorities prosecuted the owner of the catering establishment for gross violations of veterinary and sanitary rules

In October 2026, an employee of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kirov region, the Udmurt Republic and the Perm Territory conducted an unscheduled inspection visit to the IE, working in the cafe "Med" in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk.
During the inspection, it turned out that as of October 1, 2026, animal products were stored in the refrigerator and freezers of the institution without veterinary accompanying documents.
The inspectors identified 6.8 kg of pork korea, 0.3 kg of servelate, 0.5 kg of boiled sausage and 12 cans of canned mackerel, which were intended for cooking for visitors.
When analyzing the information of the Mercury component, experts found that for the whole of 2026, incoming veterinary accompanying documents for meat and fish raw materials were not issued in the name of the entrepreneur at all.
Thus, the products arrived in the kitchen of the institution bypassing the unified state control system.
The supervisory authority stressed that the lack of mandatory documents does not allow to trace the origin of raw materials and confirm its safety in veterinary and sanitary terms, as well as the epizootic well-being of the territories from which this batch was delivered, which creates a direct threat to the health of guests of the cafe.
As a result, on October 20, the Office found the entrepreneur guilty of committing an offense under part 1 of Article 10.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and imposed an administrative fine on him.
