From Urumqi to Minsk: the premiere of the Chinese film “Fun in the Bazaar” took place in “Victory”
The premiere of the Chinese film “Fun in the Bazaar” about the culture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region took place in Minsk in the city of Xinjiang.

The premiere of the Chinese film “Fun in the Bazaar” about the culture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region took place in Minsk at the Victory cinema on September 16. About the novelty and how Chinese cinema is gradually coming to the Belarusian screen, said the General Director of the capital's "Kinovideoprokat" Vladimir Karachevsky, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

- The idea of bringing here not only traditional Russian, Belarusian, Hollywood and European cinema has long been in the air. Now there are many films that are produced in different regions - South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, - said V. Karachevsky.
According to him, the Southeast Asian industry is rapidly developing and produces high-quality blockbusters, including animation and feature films with good computer graphics.
China has a huge industry, more than a thousand films a year. First of all, they shoot for the domestic market, but a number of paintings reach the foreign audience and are very popular, he added. We began to experiment and show Chinese films in our film network both in the original with Russian subtitles and with full translation.

V. Karachevsky recalled that Minsk has already successfully hosted screenings of the fantastic film “The Wandering Earth”, as well as the animated blockbuster “Nezha”. In addition, the film was shown the film “Nanjing Photographer” – a historical military drama about the tragic events of the Nanjing massacre.
- I won’t tell you all the plans today, but the plans are interesting. The first such step was the presentation of the film “Fun at the Bazaar” in our Minsk film distribution, – said the head of the Minsk “Kinovideoprokat”.

The film “Fun at the Bazaar” became a participant of a number of festivals of the CIS and SCO countries, as well as the film festival “Listapad”, where he took one of the prizes. The painting was brought from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a region where different cultures, religions and nationalities are intertwined.
The film tells the story of handmade master Keli Mu from the ancient city of Kashgar and music lover Yalikun. Between them there is a misunderstanding because of two ancient tools - the dattar and the pipa, which 300 years ago made a Kashgar master. This brings back to life the long-lost bond between their children, Liley and Aini. Back in their hometown, they meet and fall in love.
- It's an interesting folk story, an easy genre. We started negotiating with our colleagues at Listapad, and in March we visited Urumqi (the capital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region). To study the experience of cinemas. The negotiations were successful, we established constant contact, said V. Karachevsky.

The premiere was held with the support of the company of the Chinese Embassy in Belarus.
- Our colleagues from Urumqi, representatives of the propaganda department of the Communist Party of China, heads of film distribution and representatives of the film studio came to the premiere. We gave them an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of our film distribution organizations and film studios, held talks, showed them our city and country. People leave under great impression, with a desire to return and cooperate, added the CEO of Kinovideoprokat.

The first show was in Chinese with Russian subtitles. On the remaining days of the rental, viewers will be able to see the version with a full Russian dubbing.
- Today is premiere day, and I want to wish viewers to go to our cinemas, watch different movies, have fun and understand that the world is much more diverse than we think. You just need to learn to open the right doors to see a good movie, Karachevsky concluded.
