From kefir to than. The Five Most Useful Sour Drinks

Dairy drinks contain live bacteria that improve digestion and strengthen immunity. It is also important that they are absorbed by the body much easier than whole milk. About the most useful fermented milk drinks sb.by told the consultant for a healthy lifestyle Svetlana Sinichenko.

According to the expert, kefir is rightfully considered one of the champions in utility:

- Its uniqueness is in a special leaven. In kefir fungi there are more than fifty species of microorganisms - such diversity is not found in any other dairy product. Kefir not only improves the work of the intestines, but also helps to strengthen immunity, and also contributes to better absorption of calcium. It is better to drink it not cold, but room temperature, about half an hour before bedtime - this will help both digestion and restful sleep. Ryazhenka Svetlana Sinichenko explained that ryazhenka differs from kefir in that it is made from ghee:

- Due to this, it has a pleasant caramel taste and a more delicate consistency. Ryazhenka is a real storehouse of vitamins A, E and D, which are concentrated in ghee milk. This drink is especially good for those who want to get a serving of calcium and phosphorus in an easily digestible form - one glass is enough to provide a quarter of the daily value of phosphorus. Ayran Consultant talked about Ayran:

Ayran is a drink that came to us from the Caucasus. It is prepared from fermented milk, diluted with water and added salt. Thanks to this composition, ayran perfectly quenches thirst and restores water-salt balance. In hot weather or after exercise, it works as a natural isotonic, helping the body recover faster. Tan Expert noted that tan is a close relative of ayran, but has a richer taste:

- Its basis is matzons or suzma, diluted with water, often with the addition of greens, spices or even garlic. Tan not only improves digestion and microflora, but also helps reduce cholesterol and remove toxins. Svetlana Sinichenko recommends paying attention to yogurt without additives:

- Natural yogurt is rich in probiotics, calcium, vitamins D and B12, as well as zinc and phosphorus. Regular consumption of yogurt with live cultures helps reduce the level of inflammation in the body and strengthen immunity. The main rule is to choose a product without added sugar and with a note about the presence of live bacteria on the package, since after heat treatment, useful cultures die.
